Co-Owner at Arctic Dream Explorer
Lars Anker Møller has lived and worked in East Greenland since 2001, where he has worked as a hunter and fisherman, gaining decades of hands-on Arctic experience and deep knowledge of the land, sea, and traditional Greenlandic life.
As co-owner of Arctic Dream Explorer, Lars is responsible for all customer relations, marketing, trade fairs, and the development of new tours together with the team. He ensures that every guest receives professional and personal communication from the first inquiry to arrival in Greenland and represents the company internationally, building partnerships and strengthening its position in adventure tourism.
Lars plays a key role in designing new experiences, collaborating with the local team to combine practical Arctic knowledge with strategic planning and market insight. This teamwork ensures that each tour is authentic, safe, and unforgettable.
In addition to his operational and marketing responsibilities, Lars is also an accomplished photographer and has published several photo books capturing the landscapes, people, and wildlife of East Greenland, reflecting his deep respect for the Arctic environment and traditions.
During the summer season, Lars actively participates in daily operations and joins the team on tours and practical tasks, keeping the connection between planning, marketing, and real-life guest experience strong.
With over two decades in East Greenland, a background as a hunter and fisherman, and a passion for photography and storytelling, Lars brings authenticity, experience, and vision to Arctic Dream Explorer.
Sivert Nuko
Co-Owner – Captain and Operations Manager at Arctic Dream Explorer
Sivert Nuko is from Tasiilaq in East Greenland, where he grew up surrounded by the powerful Arctic landscape and strong coastal traditions. With deep local roots and extensive hands-on experience, Sivert plays a vital role in ensuring that every Arctic Dream Explorer experience is safe, reliable, and well organized.
As co-owner of Arctic Dream Explorer, Sivert is responsible for all maintenance and operations. He oversees the upkeep of the company’s houses, boats, and equipment — making sure everything is in top condition and ready for guests at all times. From technical maintenance and safety checks to practical logistics, he ensures that every detail meets high standards.
In addition to managing operations, Sivert also serves as a boat captain, guiding guests through East Greenland’s breathtaking fjords and Arctic waters. His knowledge of local conditions, weather, and navigation provides both safety and authenticity on every tour.
With Sivert on the team, Arctic Dream Explorer stands for reliability, professionalism, and true local expertise — creating secure and unforgettable Arctic adventures.
Cora Høy
CO-Owner - Local Mountain Leader Guide & Boat Driver at Arctic Dream Explorer.
29-year-old local guide from Tasiilaq, East Greenland, with a lifelong connection to the town, its people, culture, and surrounding nature, where I have had the opportunity to share my home and my knowledge of East Greenland with visitors from around the world. Working as a local guide is more than just a job to me — it is a way of sharing the place I love and helping guests experience Greenland in an authentic and meaningful way. I am a certified/local mountain leader guide and an experienced boat driver, authorized to operate boats with up to 12 passengers. I have strong communication skills and enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds. I always aim to make tourists feel safe, welcome, and comfortable while giving them a memorable experience. Having grown up in Tasiilaq, I know the local environment, mountains, landscape, wildlife, and community from a lifetime of experience. My connection to nature is also personal. I enjoy exploring the wilderness and spend time hunting seals for my family, which has given me a deep understanding and respect for the Greenlandic environment and traditional way of life. Before working as a guide, I worked as a teacher for six years. This experience strengthened my communication skills, patience, responsibility, and ability to work with people of different personalities and backgrounds. Jesper Andreasen
CO-Owner -Boat Captian and maintaining Engiens at Arctic Dream explorer.
Born and raised in Tasiilaq When you travel with Arctic Dream in East Greenland, you are not just travelling with a boat captain – you are travelling with someone who knows the area as part of his own life. Jesper Andreasen was born and raised in Tasiilaq and has spent his entire life close to the sea and the surrounding mountains. He comes from a local family with deep roots in Tasiilaq and is related to Karale Andreasen, one of the prominent figures in the early history of the town. Jesper has worked as a boat captain with Arctic Dream for the past three years, but his experience on the water goes back much further. From an early age, he joined his father and brothers on hunting trips. Through those years, he has gained a natural understanding of the local waters, weather, ice and changing conditions around Tasiilaq. When he is not working, Jesper still loves going hunting with his friends. For him, being on the water and in nature is not simply a job – it is a way of life. Jesper also has a strong interest in mechanics and technology. Together with the Arctic Dream management, he takes an active part in maintaining our boats, engines and equipment. He knows our boats well and takes pride in making sure they are ready for the next adventure. Our guests often describe Jesper as friendly, welcoming and calm. Most importantly, they say they feel safe and comfortable when they are out on the water with him. With Jesper at the helm, you are in the hands of a local who knows East Greenland from experience – not from a map.
